I HAVE HARVEST MOON: A NEW BEGINNING FOR 3DS.

Andrew bought it for me as a late birthday present. He spoils me too much. Nevertheless, I am happy.

I don't know if you can exchange friend codes in this one, but if it's possible, feel free to leave your FC in the comments. Or let's just fangirl together in the comments, either suits me. XD

I'm probably going to disappear into this game for a bit. I shall post if anything big or interesting comes up.

Yes, they are! :D I prefer Harvest Moon over Animal Crossing simply because you can keep playing it how much you like, whereas Animal Crossing follows "real life time" and there's only so much stuff you can do in one day. Animal Crossing is more relaxed - it's the kind of game that you'd play an hour every day and you'd do everything that there was to do and you'd have to wait for the next day to play again and do more stuff. Harvest Moon doesn't follow real time and that's why I like it more. :) There's also tons of different HM games to suit your tastes!

You're welcome to gank the icon to use if you like (with credit, please, since I made it. Sweat and tears and about five minutes went into that!) I feel like games get me that way, you know? I'm not so bad I forget to eat or socialise or whatever, but once I'm in the mindset of playing a game, I tend to stay that way till completion (you probably didn't want to know that, right?)

Ahh, I see, I didn't know that! Someone I used to know said Harvest Moon was the better of the two, but didn't really elaborate on why, but that's probably it. I'll have to see if I can find one of the HM games to play.
