I will address the title of this entry in a bit, but first: I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW. TOMORROW.

Sadly, it's not for Waterstones (the bookshop). They contacted me earlier in the week saying they had found someone "more qualified for the job" than me. So yeah, I was pretty sad about it. Andrew told me not to worry over it, that getting a job is a question of "win some, lose some" and he's right. I think I might have also sent a CV that they didn't like. I have a Europass CV (which has been advertised a lot in Italy and it's supposed to help you get a job anywhere in Europe), but I recently found out that UK employers don't really like that CV. So I wrote myself another one and I sent it to this shop/cafe in Andrew's town. The shop is called Cocoa Mountain. Do you see where this is going? I might be working in a chocolate shop. As a chocolate-maker and seller. If there's one thing I love more than books, it's probably chocolate. And the shop is so close to Andrew's house that I won't have to take any buses or anything. It would pretty much be perfect.

So my job interview for the chocolate shop is tomorrow. I've never had a job interview in my life (I worked for my parents when I was in Italy), so I've been googling "common job interview questions" and thinking of answers for them. I'm not really stressing over it - if anything I'm more excited than stressed. A job interview means there's a possibility that I might get the job. And if I get the job, it means income. And income means independence from my parents! (I realise I won't be totally independent from my parents with a minimum wage job, but at least I can stop feeling guilty the rare times that I spend money.) So yeah, very exciting stuff indeed. :D

And now, onto the real topic of this entry, that is: what job I'd like to do. I've realised this a couple of days ago and I'm going to write it here as well, along with my thoughts.

Andrew bought it for me as a late birthday present. He spoils me too much. Nevertheless, I am happy.

I am here again! I seriously need to go back to updating my LJ more. I will do that, I promise!

Anyway. I am here today for a very important reason. That is, I NEED TO FANGIRL ABOUT MY NEW FANDOM - SHERLOCK. ANYBODY WANT TO JOIN ME? ♥

( Spoilers, capslock & hearts. Yes, this is, indeed, a fangirling session about Sherlock. )

I've also watched Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law and I loved it! ♥ And you know what I just noticed? That all these actors that I love are doing something related to Sherlock Holmes. RDJ has done a movie, Benedict Cumberbatch is doing the BBC series... I wonder if some other actor will join in? XD It's like they all want me to read the books and get into the SH fandom. ~~WELL IT'S WORKING~~

Ahem. Well, I believe I've fangirled enough for now. XD Oh, and I still need to go see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. By the way, I noticed recently that I'm waiting for a lot of movies to be released. I'm waiting for Iron Man 3, The Avengers, Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows Part II, The Dark Knight Rises, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and, last but not least, The Hobbit by Peter Jackson! ♥ Oh my gosh, I'm so happy that Peter Jackson will be directing this movie! He's such a talented director and by far my favourite! ♥ ♥ Also, did I mention that Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch are going to be in it, as well?! SO MANY AWESOME MOVIES WITH SO MANY AWESOME PEOPLE, I DON'T EVEN. JUST. BRAIN CANNOT COPE.

On another fandom note, LEVERAGE IS BACK. ♥ ♥ ♥ I missed this show so much. I missed the awesome actors, ad well as the fantastic interaction between the characters. And the Nate/Sophie, oh gosh, I LOVE THIS PAIRING TO PIECES. ♥ Also, both Sterling and Tara are coming back in this season and I'm so happy about it, I love all the characters and I wish all of them would always be on the show. The plot is also going to be very interesting, as apparently someone is out to get the team... I can't wait for the next episodes!! ♥

And this somehow brings me to the point that... I had two dreams about Leverage. And one of them was the best dream ever.

Oh, and by the way. I WANT A LEVERAGE/SHERLOCK CROSSOVER. I know it's never gonna happen, but I seriously want to see those two series collide. Imagine the reactions of the various characters! It would be awesome. ~~Although I think Christian Kane and Benedict Cumberbatch in the same scene would be too much for the tv to handle. Heck, ALL the actors in the same scene would be too much awesome to handle!~~ ... That's why I started writing a Leverage/Sherlock crossover fic. XD By the looks of it, it's gonna be a multi-chapter fic and right now the prologue is done and I'm starting to write chapter 1. Who knows when/if I'll be able to publish it? I hope I can do it soon, but first I'll need to write at least a few chapters. Wish me luck! :D

Well, that's it for this incoherent fandom post. XD I still need to comment the season finale of Gossip Girl, which, to my surprise, I actually enjoyed a lot. ♥

And I will reply to your comments, guys! I'm just... really slow at it. /headdesk

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, one of the unis offered me a place! ♥ ♥ ♥ asdfghjkl can you believe it?! Someone actually accepted me! I mean, I've always been very doubtful since the moment I started my application and now that I know that I was offered a place at one of the unis, it's just... idk, somehow it just makes me really happy to think that someone out there thought I was good enough to study at their uni! ♥ ;w; The possibility of studying outside of Italy is real now. I mean, I know it's probably something stupid to say/think, but... ahh, I'm just so happy, I don't even think I'm making any sense now. XD; I still have to hear back from the other universities, but I think this offer was what I needed to make me truly believe that I can get accepted somewhere. ♥

I'm in a really good mood these days, despite the fact that it's EXTREMELY COLD. Seriously, this few days have been unbelievably cold. D: It's not raining or anything (on the contrary, it's been quite sunny recently), but it's the stupid wind that is cold. Even if outside is sunny, there is this strong, cold wind that just won't stop blowing. And guess what? The freaking cold air of the wind also gets into my room, because my window is made of fail and so it's never really warm in my room. ;w; And, y'know, it's kind of a problem, because I SLEEP THERE. (And I also have my computer there - it's not a laptop, so I can't move it around... right now I so wish I could.)

Anyway. I just realized the only (active) TV show I'm following right now is Gossip Girl (plus some House M.D. from time to time, while Leverage has ended around Christmas, so no new episodes until summer), so I think it might be a good time to start watching something new, too. I have a ~~huge~~ list of things I want to watch (probably some people on my f-list watch them, too) and they are: Legend of the Seeker (recommended by

kanki_yamato ♥), White Collar, BBC Sherlock, Supernatural (again, thanks to Kanki and her obsession with Dean! XD) and Merlin (which I have watched a few episodes already, but now I want to actually try and keep up with it XD)! Also, The Vampire Diaries, Doctor Who and Glee got me curious, I think I will look into them properly once I've finished watching those other series. Um, I think it's quite a long list. XD They should help me improve my English, right? Oh, and if anyone wants to recommend another TV show they think it's good, then please do! ♥ I'm open to suggestions. :D (I'm not a big fan of horror, though, so don't suggest anything too scary, please! XD;)

On another fandom note, INUYASHA IS KILLING ME. ( warning: spoilers for The Final Act! ... though I think I might be the only one here who has yet to finish watching the Final Act XD )

Well, I just had to let those thoughts out. XD Ahh, I'm kinda sorry that I fell out of the InuYasha fandom during these years. Now I'm totally back into it, though. ♥

Anyway, yesterday I finally finished recovering the files that I accidentally deleted a month ago! :D (Yeah, I'm terribly slow, I know XD;) Turns out I couldn't recover them all, but it's okay. The only ones I couldn't recover were a few movies that I had already watched (so I was gonna delete them anyway), plus all the episodes of Leverage (which I kinda need if I want to make videos about it). Don't worry, though, I can get them back easily. :) So yeah, mission: recovering files - accomplished! *victory pose*

Problem resolved, guys! :D This morning I called UCAS's Customers Service Units and after a couple of minutes I was able to solve the problem and now my application is being processed! ♥ I was so scared/nervous of calling, but it didn't go that bad! XD The guy who picked up the phone was really nice and polite (which to me is a big pro, because sometimes when we phone to some Italian customer service the people who pick up the phone don't act professional at all). He even pronounced my name right (foreign speakers also have trouble with my name)! Ohohoh~ *thumbs up* 8Db And asdfghjkl THAT BRITISH ACCENT. ♥ I had to make an effort in order to listen to what he was saying, 'cause that accent was distracting. XD After the call, I wanted to call Customer Service Units again, just to hear that accent over the phone, hahaha~ ~~... wait. Am I fangirling over a phone call? XD~~

Anyway. Sorry to make you all worry. ♥ Everything's okay now. :D
