good news!
Problem resolved, guys! :D This morning I called UCAS's Customers Service Units and after a couple of minutes I was able to solve the problem and now my application is being processed! ♥ I was so scared/nervous of calling, but it didn't go that bad! XD The guy who picked up the phone was really nice and polite (which to me is a big pro, because sometimes when we phone to some Italian customer service the people who pick up the phone don't act professional at all). He even pronounced my name right (foreign speakers also have trouble with my name)! Ohohoh~ *thumbs up* 8Db And asdfghjkl THAT BRITISH ACCENT. ♥ I had to make an effort in order to listen to what he was saying, 'cause that accent was distracting. XD After the call, I wanted to call Customer Service Units again, just to hear that accent over the phone, hahaha~ ... wait. Am I fangirling over a phone call? XD
Anyway. Sorry to make you all worry. ♥ Everything's okay now. :D
And nowww... meme time~ (as always XD)!
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever)
1. My parents.
2. Sara & Silvia. (I met them around the same time and they both mean a lot to me, so I'm going to put them together.)
3. My LJ friends.
4. My rl friends.
5. A Maths tutor I had during my third year of high school.
Okay, I kinda cheated on the meme, because I was supposed to choose five people. Seriously, though, I have a lot of people who mean a lot to me! It's impossible to choose. Just so you know, guys, you're all important to me. ♥ But I think you knew this already. XD
Oh, by the way, if any of you wanted me to give you five fandoms on the last meme, then just tell me and I'll gladly do so. :D Sometimes I'm so absent-minded when it comes to memes. XD;

XD
Anche tu hai lo stesso problema, eh? ;_; Io quando sono andata in America ho dovuto sopportare per due settimane gente che non riusciva a pronunciare (e nemmeno scrivere!) correttamente il mio nome! Continuavano a chiamarmi "Frederica", mettendoci una R di troppo... =_=" (Pensa che il mio partner mi aveva fatto un biglietto di benvenuto, che era anche molto carino, ma aveva scritto, "Welcome, Frederica" ;_; Non gliel'ho fatto notare perché alla fine non era nulla di grave, però appena l'ho visto ci sono rimasta un po' così...) Capisco che come nome può suonare tanto come "Friedrich", ma persino i tedeschi hanno meno problemi a pronunciare il mio nome giusto! Gli unici che sembrano non riuscirci sono gli inglesi... ;_;
Così adesso, per aggirare l'ostacolo, appena un inglese mi chiede come mi chiamo, io rispondo ovviamente "Federica", ma lo pronuncio in accento inglese, in modo che loro sanno come devono pronunciarlo, così non lo sbagliano/storpiano! Come si dice, 'a mali estremi, estremi rimedi!' XD;

Anyways, gotta love the British accents (and Scottish...♥). They normally act professional whenever you call something and they answer. Sadly, here, if we have our own people answering the phones and they so far away...they cannot pronouce some names correctly (mostly Spanish and French). I was that customer service you called! ^^;

Oh, yeah. ♥ I have a massive soft spot for British accents (or any UK accent, really XD), that's also one of the reasons why I want to study there and try to learn how to speak with a British accent. Right now my accent is just... half-Italian, half-American. XD; (I can speak German with a somewhat German accent, though, strangely enough.)
Aw, I see. I was just really lucky that the guy who picked up the phone could pronounce my name right! ♥ Haha. XD

I would LOVE to learn how to speak with a British accent. I just sound so weird if I try to speak any other langauge because of my accent. Half-Italian, half-American...:3 That sounds pretty to me. I love European accents a lot too. *Fangirls* If you go and study in the UK, I wish you luck! It is a small place land wise, but very beautiful and wonderful cultures. I chase after the Scottish culture in particular, because my family was original from there. :3
(If I try to speak German or Dutch, I sound like I'm killing the poor language. I think most European speakers respect me trying, just not the sounds that come out. I think Japanese speakers feel the same way. I laugh my Spanish accent because it sounds so strange).
I think we all can fangirl over the British accents though. ♥
