Finally, happy post!
HAPPY POST. :D
Today there was no school, but we had to go there anyway because it was FestUccellis! :D What is it? Well, it's a special day where there are no lessons and there are lots of things going on instead - theater, chorus, dancing... and basically anything you can do at school that isn't lesson. XD I don't think the other schools of my city do this, we are the only ones. I love this day, I find it very unique. ♥ Hence the name - "Uccellis" is the name of my school, "Festa" is the italian word for party (and, well, since "u" and "a" can't be close in Italian because they're two vocals, it becomes "FestUccellis", but that's grammar. XD;)
But anyway, this was my morning:
8:00 - Prepare everything that is needed to perform. (My theater group was the first show of the morning.)
8:30 - Perform.
9:15 - Do the art history oral test. (I said we don't have lesson on FestUccellis Day, but I had to do this oral test today, because I wouldn't have had much time to study next week.) I looked everywhere for the art history teacher, I was going crazy! XD; I kept asking everyone if they had seen her, but every person said different things and I couldn't figure out where she was! It was quite hilarious, actually. XD; In the end I found her and I did well on my oral test. :D
From 9:30 to 10:30 I watched the videos of the various exchanges of the other classes. It was nice. Some of them were really funny. XD
10:30 - I saw the play of the other theater group. It was great, they were really good. :D
11:30 - At the end of the play, the members of the chorus (myself included) went into a little room upstairs to warm up our voices, but most of us ended up doing funny things. XD; But we did warm up our voice a little.
11:45 - Sung three songs: "Joy to the world", "Seasons of Love" and... "Lasagna". XD; I think we all sung pretty good. :D
12:15 - Saw the monologues of the newbies that want to be part of the theater group. Some of them were just... talking with an emotionless voice and expressionless face, and some could have done better. Though there was this girl who did "An Ideal Husband" by Oscar Wilde and she was very good! :D
And then I went home at 1:00 pm.
Um, anything else? Oh, yeah. While I was doing my oral test, an old member of our theater group came to me to say hi, but I couldn't talk to him because I was doing my oral test. XD; Later we talked a bit and he said that he didn't want to interrupt me in the middle of my oral test. He said he thought that my art history teacher was my mother! XD; Lol, that was hilarious.
Oh, and yesterday there was the final rehearsal of the dancing club of my school. It was the story of the famous film "The Wizard of Oz", only it was danced. It was really good! The main characters were great dancers, the choreography was nice and the songs were well-chosen. Omg, the Munchkins were all girls and they had those big lollipops and they had put their hair into small tails and they pop-danced and, omg, it was so cute and funny! <33 And when the Wicked Witch of the West showed up, I was all like, 'OH YEAH, I LIKE THIS, GO WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST'. XD The girl who played the witch was great, she danced so well! Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion were played by two girls and they were good, too! I loved the costume of the lion-girl, it was beyond coolness! The only boy in there was the Tin Man. Oh, he was so cool! When he showed up the music suddenly changed and was techno/rap and he started dancing and we all went, 'OHHHH, COOL!' XD Really funny. The Lion and the Scarecrow had their own songs, too. The Scarecrow's was "Cotton-Eyed Joe" and I laughed so much when I heard it XD, while the Lion's was from the movie "Tarzan" and we all recognized it. :D I supported the Wicked Witch of the West until the end, even though I knew she was going to lose. XD;
Well, that's it. I missed my happy posts. XD;
