I'm back! With more fandoms rants!
Hello, LJ buddies! :D I haven't been on LJ much lately, I know. Sorry about that! ;_; I also have to reply to you all, I'm gonna do it asap! These days I'm trying to work on fanlistings, plus asking for money loan for university - which reminds me, one of the unis I sent the application to has also given me an email account that I will be using to keep in contact with the uni (and hopefully I will be using it for others things if I get accepted? ♥)! I felt so excited when I was setting the account. XD (Even though it's just an account, I still don't know whether I will be accepted or not. Still, it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. ♥) The uni even texted me to let me know that I had to setup the account and everything. I swear, I nearly screamed when I read this English text on my cellphone. XD Also, apparently my phone recognizes the uni (which I obviously do not have the number registered in my phone), but it does not recognize my friends' numbers when they text me. :/ Certainly, my cellphone is pretty messed up. XD;
Anyway. As you may know, I'm watching InuYasha - The Final Act and I must say, I am enjoying every second of it. The latest episodes got me glued to the sofa! XD; Right now I've got 4 more episodes to watch, which means it'll stop airing here next Saturday. This makes me so sad. ;; I always thought InuYasha was going to end... idk, when I turned 30 or something. XD Yeah. Anyway, I'll make sure to enjoy these last episodes. And, of course, I'll watch the last two episodes as many times as I can.then I'm going to download the whole Final Act, mhuahahahaha!
Seriously, though, it looks like I've fallen back into InuYasha lately. I suddenly want to re-watch all the movies(I watched them so long ago, I don't even remember them... orz /fail) and I'm looking around to see if I can find any episodes, too. I'm also going to see if I can find some good fanfics over at fanfiction.net. Wish me good luck, guys! XD
On another fandom note, GOSSIP GIRL IS NOT ON HIATUS ANYMORE. ♥ Okay, there were things I liked and things I didn't like about this episode. First of all, there was literally no Chuck/Blair interaction. AT. ALL. Not even one single scene together. I understand that they're taking a break and that they can't be together at this point of the show, but still, they're best friends. They cannot just IGNORE each other's existence forever. Hello, writers?
The other thing I didn't like is the new characters. That girl there, Raina - she's already annoying. And this was just the first episode she was in. I cannot imagine how annoying she's gonna be for the rest of the episodes. Ugh.
Also, writers? Why the heck are you making Chuck randomly sleep around with other girls? The one that he wants, the one he's in love with is obviously Blair - and ONLY Blair. I seriously don't get this. In season 2, he couldn't sleep around with other girls because he had only Blair in mind (though, later he could sleep with other girls, but he hadn't completely admitted his feelings for Blair yet) - and now he can? What kind of logic is this?
That said, let's get onto the good part. That is, DAN/BLAIR, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. It didn't actually happen - wait, correction - it hasn't happened yet, but you can just feel it's gonna happen, sooner or later. Maybe we're going to get some Dan/Blair after four seasons! Ahh, ain't I excited. ♥ ♥ ♥ They had only three/four scenes together in this episode, but they were sweet. They didn't make me laugh (which I find kinda strange, 'cause these two always make me laugh with their constant bickering), but still, it was sweet to see Blair opening up to Dan a little. :) Also, I don't think anything happened between them off-screen, even though Blair sounded kinda awkward when talking about Dan. Hmmm. Maybe it's just me, though.
As for the rest of the episode, it was okay. Blair and Eleanor's mother/daughter moment was really sweet. ♥ And Serena and Dan reminded me a little of Chuck and Blair with the whole 'let's wait until we're ready' thing. Does this mean the writers are planning on getting them together at the end of the season - if not of the whole show? Personally, I'd be okay with that. I've always liked Dan/Serena, since episode 1 of the first season. I'd be glad if they ended up together in the end. Although, I can't help but feel that the writers are missing an important point here - that is, they're step-siblings. They broke up because of it and they did it for their parents' happiness. How are they going to get back together if they're still step-siblings? I hope the writers come up with something good for this and not with some lame excuse just to get this over with... D:
Also, it might sound stupid, but I was... expecting a little more from this episode. After such a long break and after all the things that have happened lately (and especially after 4x10-11, those were really good episodes, not to mention the gasp!cliffhanger), I thought this episode was going to be more... idk, 'exciting', in a way - like the episodes that came before it. However, I have to admit, it was a little boring at certain points. I watched it mostly for the Dan/Blair parts, but the rest of it was kinda... predictable. That's it - nothing particularly 'unexpected' happened. Usually there's always something that makes me go 'gasp!', but this time there wasn't. (Plus, no Chuck/Blair interaction whatsoever - the show kinda loses points here.) Except at the end. Serena meeting Ben definitely made me go 'gasp!' XD I can also see where the writers are going with this... Ben/Serena, y/y? (Personally, I neither hate them together, nor I particularly like them... it really depends on what's gonna happen in the next episodes, though.)
Anyway. Final note. I am very excited that Dan/Blair seems to be finally happening, as they are my second favourite couple on the show (#1 being Chuck/Blair, of course). However. The writers need to realize what they're doing here. They are attempting to pair Dan and Blair together - and we all know that the two of them aren't exactly the best of friends. Blair doesn't know Dan very well and it seems that she cannot stand being with him for too long - however, I think Dan might know Blair a bit better than she knows him. He did have that talk with Rufus about 'girls who are made of layers' in episode 4 of season 1. And there Rufus also said that 'girls like that are challenging and complicated - and usually worth it.' (Yes, this is where I started shipping Dan/Blair, can you tell? XD)
In my opinion of humble fanfiction writer, I would start from this and use Rufus's words to get them closer. I'd make Dan fall for Blair first (and here should follow a cute angstfest of Dan being in denial and later realize that he should just go getChuck's 'his' girl), while Blair would need a little more time to a) let the information that Dan Humphrey has fallen for her (for real) sink in; and b) sort out her feelings and understand if a relationship with Dan Humphrey is what she wants/needs at the moment. More angst and denial follow and then they'd both agree to give it a shot. (I'd insert here a cute moment where Dan talks Blair into being in a real relationship and see if things work out. 'Cause we all know he would totally do that.)
And then - DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNN. Chuck finds out and is jealous of Dan. Personally, I'd also make the two of them fight over Blairbecause Chuck/Blair/Dan is so my Gossip Girl OT3 but I understand that I might be a little biased here, so I'll just... wait and see if the writers want to make Chuck and Dan fight over Blair. That would be my dream come true. ♥ Oh, and, I'd also make Dan have a little complex and think that he might not be 'enough' for Blair compared to Chuck. Which could result in another angstfest with Blair telling him that what's going on between them cannot be compared to what she had (has?) with Chuck. Or it could be a break-up reason for later. Hmmmm. /ideas for possible fanfics
tl;dr WRITERS, DO NOT SCREW UP WITH DAN/BLAIR NOW, OR I SHALL BE FOREVER MAD. kthnx.

It's not easy for me to find an OT3 because I myself prefer 2 boys and 1 girl instead of 2 girls and 1 boy. =/ Because I will feel horrible for the rejected girl (even if I don't like her), well about boys, I don't mind. xD /shot

If you read the manga, I think Dia/Pearl/Plat would be very suitable, since Platinum treats all of the boys like her bodyguards, and Dia was love at first sight with her, and Pearl is the one that saves her most of the time. xD SQUEE.

Yup, so far I've only been reading the first volume of the English manga, since it's not available in the markets yet... Why is it taking so long for the publisher to release all the volumes??? D'8 I've been waiting for the next volume since who knows when. OTL

I actually have a one-shot by Arina called Short-tempered Melancholic~ And it's really cute, I love the eyes she draws~ <333 OMG, so many manga and so much money needed to be spent! *___* Are they animes for Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Shinshi Doumei Cross? I know there's a DVD set for Full Moon Wo Sagashite but I have no money to buy it... OTL
