Hello guys! I'm writing from Andrew's house. Nothing super exciting has happened this week, but I thought I'd write an entry anyway. Much like the last entry, this is going to be divided in real life and fandom updates.
REAL LIFE
❖ Andrew came on Wednesday and stayed at uni with me until Friday. He was the most awesome boyfriend. We cuddled and watched more IT Crowd together on Wednesday, while on Thursday we went around the shops and had some coffee. We went around for quite a while actually, we spent at least 3 hours going around the city and window shopping. We were really tired by the time we got back, but that's not all. Andrew suited up for me and brought me out to dinner. We shared a really nice pizza at an Italian restaurant and we spent a lovely evening out. ♥♥♥ It was really amazing and he was very romantic. It made me so happy.
❖ On not-so-good news, I think my nausea might be coming back. I'm taking the medicines, but sometimes I still feel nauseous and I need to lie down. It's really bothersome, but at least I can keep eating. I don't know if it's because of me going back to uni and stressing over stuff or if it's something else. I might be stressing already without noticing and that might be putting pressure on my psoas. I have no idea how to relax, either. I'll have to ask the physiotherapist during our next session.
❖ I got my 8GB RAM memory! I haven't put it in my computer yet though, 'cause I don't have the right screwdriver... And here I was, getting all excited to go back to vidding again.
FANDOMS
❖ Regarding The Big Bang Theory, I've just read an article on an actor hired to play an handsome classmate of Penny. You can bet they're going to make Leonard jealous of him and either a) he and Penny will have a fight about it and then make up; or b) it will be an actual threat to their relationship if the guy falls in love with Penny. I hope they're not making him fall for her, or worse, making her fall for him. I can easily see this plot point going nowhere, but I can also see it as a new reason for Leonard and Penny to break up. If the writers make them break up again, I might stop watching this show altogether.
❖ I'm now on chapter 22 of Mockingjay. It has become somewhat less boring, but now I fear the ending might be really disappointing. I know I will be disappointed if something happens to Peeta or if he doesn't get better. He's basically the only character I care about at this point. I don't even care about Katniss anymore, or Gale, tbh. It's pretty obvious they won't die, being main characters and all. But yeah, I'm just reading for Peeta now.
And now it's time for a meme! I saw everyone doing this, so I thought I'd give it a shot, too. Here goes!
A - ACCENT: Italian. Sort of. It's funny, my flatmates told me I don't have an Italian accent and I don't think it shows too much. I guess I've been living here and speaking English long enough to lose a bit of my Italian accent. Which is kind of amazing, imo, 'cause I hate the Italian accent, lol.
B - BIRTHDAY MONTH: August!
C - CHORE YOU HATE: To be honest... ALL OF THEM.
D - DAD'S NAME: Vincenzo.
E - ESSENTIAL MAKE-UP ITEM: Um... I'll go with mascara. But even pencils or eyeliners can be essential. I also have a thing for lipsticks... IDK.
F - FAVOURITE PERFUME/COLOGNE: Idk. I have many perfumes that I like but I can't remember their names.
G - GOLD OR SILVER: I like gold, but I don't wear much golden stuff, I mostly wear silver.
H - HOMETOWN: Naples, Italy.
I - INSOMNIA: I've had nights where I couldn't sleep, but generally I make myself fall asleep by reading or playing a game on my Nintendo DS.
J - JOB TITLE: Law student. Hopefully I'll be a lawyer one day.
K - KIDS: None. Right now I don't even want to have them in the future.
L - LIVING ARRANGEMENTS: Currently living on campus at university. I've moved houses a few times and now my current house is back in Italy. But hopefully I'll have a house of my own here in Scotland in a few years.
M - MOM'S BIRTHPLACE: Naples, Italy.
N - NUMBER OF APPLES YOU'VE EATEN: Generally I don't eat apples. I do remember getting obsessed with red apples one summer though - I would eat at least three apples every day. But only the red ones though - didn't like the green ones.
O - OVERNIGHT HOSPITAL STAYS: None, and I hope it stays that way.
P - PHOBIA: Spiders. And bugs. And lobsters/crabs. Generally anything with more than 4 legs.
Q - QUEST: Finish my degree; recover totally from my illness; go back to eating normally without feeling nauseous; trying not to get stressed easily; catching up with some TV shows; making videos; and at the very moment trying to upgrade my computer's RAM memory.
R - RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION: Atheist. But I find Buddhism fascinating and if I believed in something, Buddhism would be it.
S - SIBLINGS: None.
T - TIME YOU WAKE UP: Depends on the day, but usually any time between 7 and 10. There have been times where I woke up at 6 for no apparent reason. Not fun.
U - UNNATURAL HAIR COLOURS YOU'VE WORN: Only one - I made my hair darker than it is, so it was dark brown. Also, I've had highlights.
V - VEGETABLE YOU REFUSE TO EAT: There are quite a few, like carrots (if cooked in a certain way), broccoli, sometimes pepper.
W - WORST HABIT: Eating the skin of my fingers. It's a nasty habit that I'm trying hard to get rid of.
X - X-RAYS YOU'VE HAD: None.
Y - YUMMY FOODS YOU MAKE: None that come to mind at the moment.
Z - ZANY QUIRK: None that I'm aware of.
