Hello, guys! I'm not feeling too well today, so I decided not to go to my lectures (I only had two hours of lectures anyway) and instead write an entry here.

First of all: if you like Gossip Girl, please consider joining [community profile] gossip_girl! I offered to help bring the community back to life and I became the new admin! So now I'm promoting the community as much as I can, so that more people can join. Right now there's a friending meme going on, so everyone can get to know each other. I have many plans for this community and I really hope it becomes the "hub" for Gossip Girl fans on Dreamwidth. So, if you're a fan, please do join! :D

Now, onto other matters. As far as real life goes, everything is okay. Andrew was here from Monday until Wednesday and now he's back home. It was really nice to have him here and to be able to spend time together, just the two of us. ♥ We watched Scrubs, had a marathon of How I Met Your Mother (I want to watch the whole show and Andrew doesn't mind watching it with me. Now we're almost finished watching season 1), went around town - the usual stuff. We found an amazing shop which sells second-hand games/movies/tv series/etc. which has stuff at incredibly cheap prices! It has become our new favourite shop in town! I bought a game, Folklore, for the PS3, for just £12! It looks really good though, I can't wait to try it! Andrew has also bought me the Mummy trilogy (all three movies for just £5), which are my guilty pleasure movies. XD He has never seen any of the Mummy movies, so I'll make him watch all three when I go back to his house.

On another note, I've been thinking of buying an eReader for a while. reasons and self-doubting behind the cut )

So yeah, should I buy one or not? I thought I would ask your opinions on this, guys, before I bought one. Right now I'm eyeing the Kobo glo, which is coming out here in the UK on Monday, October 1st.

And that's all for this entry. I'm going to get something to eat now. :D Until next time!

I am attempting to update my journal more, seeing as I have all those amazing icons and I'm not using them enough. I might be a little too ambitious, but I really want to try and update daily - or, if not daily, then at least more than twice a week. I just don't like seeing my journal so empty. ;w;

Another real life update shall come soon, though! I'm on Easter holidays (although I'm revising for my upcoming exams right now), so expect an update probably around next week, after my first two exams (one is on the 23rd and the other is on the 25th). Don't feel obliged to comment on any of my entries these days - they'll mostly consist of LJ's Writer's Blocks and memes, as I want to update my journal more, but cannot write a life update right now (revision is pretty much the only thing I do/think of these days). Anyway, here goes!

My favourite place to read a book is my bed. Not really an original place, I know, but I can't help it. Reading in bed is just so relaxing, it's the moment of day where I can enjoy a book more (and honestly, it's probably the only time during the day in which I can read properly and haven't got any thoughts or worries in my head that distract me from enjoying a book).
Right now I'm reading A Series of Unfortunate Events (recommended to me by Andrew, my boyfriend). I must say, even though they're children's books, I am actually enjoying them a lot. Right now I'm reading the fifth book, The Austere Academy. I've sort of put it aside these days, though, as revision is pretty much my only concern right now. But I will keep on reading it once my first two exams are over!

There you go. I hope you guys are doing well! :D Goodnight~!

I just noticed today is Friday 17th. IT'S AN UNLUCKY DAY. (probably only in Italy, but still.) ...Okay, so I'm a bit superstitious. Fortunately it's summer and I can stay at home, so nothing bad will happen to me. that's probably useless, anyway.

My writing muse has returned. And also my AMV-making muse. Probably because I spent yesterday night evening listening to some very sad songs. Maybe I'll write down something later. =D

The scary dream I had last night. Monsters and screaming ahead. )

Will read Harry Potter tonight. I read chapter 1 last night and everything is okay so far. I won't jump to the last page, I promise. :D

I. Have. Harry. Potter. And. The. Deathly. Hallows. In. English. *Is too shocked to say something.*
*cough* Okay, I know that most of you have already read it, BUT I'm Italian and Harry Potter won't be translated 'till December or something like that. SO I'M HAPPY. :D

I've never read Harry Potter in English. I'm used to read stories in English, so I don't think I'll have problems reading it, but obviously I'll have to look up at the dictionary once in a while (for the meaning of certain words, you know). And if someone (who has already read HP) would like to give me a hand when I ask for help, it would be awesome. :D

Ramblings of real life. )

I love this song so much~ ♥
I can't shake this feeling I've got
My dirty hands, have I been in the wars?
The saddest thing that I'd ever seen
Were smokers outside the hospital doors

I'm so going to make an AMV with it when I get the clips.

Speaking of AMVs, I've uploaded some of my videos on YouTube, right here. They're only eight, but I plan on making more AMVs. They could take a while, though, I'm kinda slow at this. ^^; Stupid Movie Maker, it's all your fault.

Four days left to my birthday, yay~ XD
