Yes, I am alive! :D I know, I have neglected eljay for a month, but I was busy enjoying summer. Y'know, relaxing, going out, enjoying the sun, catching up on manga, writing (ohh, it feels so good now that I actually have time to finish writing a story/chapter the same day I start it!), vidding, photoshopping (as you probably can see by the ridiculous amount of icons I've just uploaded) and all that sort of stuff. :D Also, I've been working at my father's shop, so that's another reason why I couldn't update lj. XD;

To make up for my absence, I made a new header! ♥ This one features Sakura and Syaoran. ~~well, one of the many versions of the two of them, anyway XD;~~ There were supposed to be also Kuro-rin and Fay in there, but it looked better with just Syaoran and Sakura. The lyrics are from one of my favourite songs, 'Leave Out All The Rest' by Linkin Park. I hope you like this header. I sure do! :D

Today is also my father's birthday, so happy birthday to my dad! ♥

I can't write anything else right now, because I have to go. You'll still hear from me, I promise. :D I hope you are all enjoying summer! ♥

P.S. I so have to see HPB - I feel like this movie is going to be awesome! :D

Speaking about CB... I STILL HAVE TO WATCH THE LAST EPISODE OF GOSSIP GIRL. ~~it's not like I don't know what's going to happen, anyway...~~

Anyway, Monday was my friend's birthday. She's 18 now, yay! :D ~~why is everybody turning 18 except for me?~~ She's throwing a party tonight and I'm so totally going. First I'll have to get ready, but the party starts at 9:30 pm, so I have plenty of time to take a shower, wash & curl my hair and decide what to wear. I'm going to have so much fun tonight! :D

I was going to do a meme, but right now I don't feel like doing something that requires even a little bit of energy, though. XD; I'm just too tired. Will do that another time.

Also, recently I have this... sudden urge to play Fire Emblem. It's been ages since I last played Fire Emblem. I just finished one more chapter, though, didn't go that far. I really need a lot of time on my hands if I want to play FE correctly. I mean, it took me one HOUR to finish just one chapter, wtf? XD; It was fun playing, nonetheless.

Well... I don't want to talk about school, so that's pretty much everything, I think. I am currently downloading Gossip Girl's last episode of season 2. Expect some fangirling once I watch it, which will probably be tomorrow or someday soon~ :D

In the end I'm sticking with this layout and I'm not changing anything, 'cause... I actually think the header fits even without changing anything. XD;

I've gone back to photoshopping this weekend. I've made three banners and a couple of Gossip Girl icons, just for my personal usage. I never would have thought that I could come up with some pretty graphics that I liked, 'cause I've been neglecting photoshop for some time. XD;

But anyway. Isn't it true that making fun of your very own fandom somehow makes you laugh even more?
That said, today I want to share with you guys something that makes me laugh shamelessly and that has brighten up my whole weekend.

In which Serena is trying to re-conquest Blair, the love of her life, but is unsuccessful, Chuck is a vampire ~~(LOL, Chuck Bass = Edward Cullen?)~~, Nate is a very confused stripper, Dan and Jenny are trying to survive by working for Blair, Lily is America's top assassin and she and Rufus are in competition to see who's the worst parent! XD

Also, totally unrelated, but I think I might be discovering the joys of firefox. <3

Hey there guys, I need some advice here. I've made a new header for my lj, which you can see here.

Question is, what do I do with it? I mean, should I keep my current layout and just change a couple of colors so that it matches the header, or should I change the whole layout? I searched for a layout that might fit the header and that I liked, and I just found this and this (although the colors of the second one don't really fit the header). I kinda like this and this, too. (All layouts by

milou_veronica.)

On the other hand, I also like the layout I'm using, I feel kinda attached to it...

So, what should I do? I really don't know. D:
Do you know some other layout that might fit the header?

Argh. Lately I've been super busy. With what? Summer homework, of course! Geez. School starts next week (not this Monday) and I still have to finish them. Can you believe it? XD;

Anyway, I changed layout. Gosh, I made, like, three different headers and I didn't like any of them. Fortunately, Mao (

indelible_scars) helped me and gave me some great advice. Thanks a lot! <3

Plus, I got obsessed again with Simple & Clean (the remixed version) by Utada Hikaru, so that's the reason of the lyrics in the header. I kinda miss the 'old' KH. XD;

But now I have to go to bed. Will write more in the next post. ~~goodnight. XD~~
